Needing to find a new way to protect his treasure - his wine - Don Melchor turned to Chilean folklore. Knowing that the inhabitants were superstitious and feared supernatural phenomena, he spread the rumor that there were strange nightly events that could only be explained in one way: the devil lived in their cellars. Driven by the imagination of local residents, every sound in the cellar, every echo, shadow and shape gave more value to the story.
