This 100% Encruzado wine, the queen white grape variety of Dão, offers the best testimony to this unique terroir, of high-altitude granite soils, with the influence of Serra da Estrela, in the Dão region. This monovarital of the Encruzado variety comes from a plot of Quinta do Aral that is around 40 years old. In its vinification, it had a slight aging in French oak barrels. Casa Américo Encruzado 2020 white wine has a greenish yellow color, with a delicate aroma. In the mouth it is creamy, with a beautiful acidity and a long, mineral finish.
